The employees in Ansan Plant had athletic meeting at Neunggil stadium on 31th, May.Mr. Kress, Plant manager said, “All the employees should be mindful of their safety during the game.” in his opening speech.
After short warming up, about 240 employees played main events by dividing into two teams. One is Union team(wearing green T-shirts) and the other is Harmony team (wearing orange T-shirts). The two teams battled it out with ardent cheering from the beginning of the race.
Main events are as below:
- Ball games: Football, Foot volleyball, Kickball
- Unusual games: True or False Quiz, Roll the earth
- Team games: Team jump rope, Team tug-of-war.
Employees in Ansan plant especially showed their power of unity in team games.
The two teams played a tight match. As a result, Union team won the game and took a cash prize. Athletic meeting ended with closing ceremony and Mr. Kress, Plant manager was unsparing with his praise of the two teams played fair and square.We hope Ansan plant meet with good results in 2010 production based on their teamwork and strong will for goal which were showed in athletics meeting!
There is a OJT for new employees in R&D center. R&D center's director said to new employees as below.” Please contribute to future as a great resource in Schaeffler Korea.
Senior employee provided the training for group project, company organizations. It will help new employees adapt to company as fast as possible.
IB division in Schaeffler Korea had a workshop to achieve its sales goals. Nearly 100 employees joined this event and had a meaningful time for 2 days(4/8~9). CEO and head of Industrial division also took part in workshop and said to employees "how important each employees' role is". CEO's short speech was followed by a talent show competition between departments.

Industrial Workshop was held on 23rd, April in Dea-Cheon.
This Workshop was intended to motivate employees and activate internal communication. 90 employees joined this workshop.
